Making an Offer
- Confirm your pre-approval is current and in writing
- Review comparable sales with your agent before offering
- Decide on offer price, deposit, and closing date
- Include appropriate conditions (inspection, financing)
- Submit offer with certified deposit cheque ready
- Be ready to negotiate, and know your walk-away number
Stage 07
Closing Day
- Complete your final walk-through 24 hours before closing
- Confirm all included items are present and working
- Bring certified cheque or wire transfer for balance owing
- Sign all closing documents with your lawyer
- Receive keys and garage openers from seller's lawyer
- Change all locks and set up utilities immediately
